What’s new in Pilotborne, from the small improvements to the next big milestone. Here’s how your logbook is growing.
WEB · REGISTRATION PAUSED
Making room for a simpler start.
New account creation is temporarily paused while we improve the Flight Schedule Pro import experience. The current setup asks too much of a new pilot.
Existing accounts remain available. You can still sign in and view your saved logbook.
No reopening date yet. We’ll share the next update here.
WEB · IMPORTER PREVIEW
One way to bring your FSP history.
Google registration briefly reopened with this preview. New account creation is now paused again, as described in the latest update above.
The desktop Pilotborne importer is now the only import option. Install the browser extension once, start from the web logbook, and sign in directly to Flight Schedule Pro.
Review, then save. Confirm the FSP pilot and import summary before records are added to your personal Pilotborne account. New imports check existing records for duplicates and updates.
Drafts stay in view. Drafts, sessions awaiting a PIN, and unconfirmed records are kept separate from logged-hour totals. Unread sessions and incomplete imports are called out.
Your account across devices. View saved records in the web app on your computer or phone. Native iPhone and Android apps and widgets are still planned.
A simpler import screen. File uploads, spreadsheet mapping, LogTen links, and sample imports have been removed. Manual flight logging and logbook export remain available.
Early test. This requires manual installation in desktop Chrome or Edge using Developer mode and Load unpacked. It is not a browser-store release or an official FSP integration. Check imported records against your originals.
WEB · DESIGN UPDATE
A new palette for your flight deck.
Meet Cool champagne: cool graphite surfaces, warm champagne accents, and clear text throughout the homepage, logbook, imports, and account screens.
WEB · REGISTRATION
Preparing for a connected logbook.
Earlier in development, account creation was paused while we explored Flight Schedule Pro API access. The browser importer preview described above replaces that proposed import route.
Existing accounts remain available. Existing users retained access to their saved records throughout the earlier registration pause.
WEB · IMPORT UPDATE
A quicker way to bring your flights.
Import from FSP. This earlier release introduced an FSP button with file and LogTen-link import. Those options have now been replaced by the desktop browser importer preview.
Updates, up front. Find the Changelog at the top of the homepage and web app, including on smaller screens.
WEB · ACCOUNT UPDATE
A smoother start.
Confirm your password. Account creation asks you to enter your password twice and shows a helpful message if the entries don’t match.
A place for what’s new. This changelog brings Pilotborne updates together, with a link from both the home page and your web logbook.
Continue with Google. Google sign-in was added in this release alongside email and password sign-in.
WEB · EARLY ACCESS
Your flight deck is open.
The Pilotborne website and web logbook are now available at pilotborne.com.
Your hours, together. See flight time, air time, PIC, night, and instrument totals, with simulator time kept separate.
A personal logbook. Add and edit flights, explore your history, and export a copy of your records.
Your own account. Personal accounts keep each pilot’s saved flights separate and support cloud sync. Device-only mode is also available.
Bring your history. The initial release supported Excel, CSV and LogTen exports. Those import choices have since been removed in favor of the desktop FSP importer preview.
Early access note. Account confirmation and password-reset email delivery are still being prepared. Keep a separate copy of your original flight records.
More ways to keep your hours close.
The iPhone app and home-screen widgets are in development, with Android planned for later. Their releases will appear here when they’re available. There are no App Store or Google Play downloads yet.
